A visit to Basingstoke Hospital
We recently supplied new catering equipment to the busy commercial kitchen at Basingstoke Hospital, which is used to feed staff and patients three times a day.
The kitchen staff at Basingstoke hospital are always prepping for the next meal, between the many chefs that help run the kitchen there is always something cooking, and a huge part of why they can keep up with this daily demand is because of the upgrade we facilitated for their combination ovens. Their previous models were beginning to show their age and as a result staff noticed that performance was beginning to drop off as well.
The project didn’t end there, as well as numerous items for the back of house equipment, we also assisted in the provision of new servery equipment to help upgrade the hospital’s restaurant area. As part of the project this was optimised using a new layout and the specially chosen equipment helping provide a major upgrade.
With speed at the heart of the design the new set up saves staff time when choosing their food and being served so they can make the most of their breaks to refuel and get back to doing the incredibly important work they do.
