Introducing Cold Rooms to Increase Storage Capacity
Due to a collaboration with Sainsbury's, Dobbies needed to increase their chilled and frozen storage capacity to launch a new range of fresh and frozen produce in 55 stores. With shop floor layout changes and an expanding product offering that required regular restocks, the team at Dobbies needed refrigeration solutions that could be used as freezers, chillers and in some cases ambient storage capacity for both indoor & outdoor use.
Rental+ cold room plans enabled Dobbies to pay for new cold rooms through fixed monthly rental fees instead of a large capital outlay. The Dobbies team were able to successfully launch the new Sainsbury's product offering with the peace of mind that all service & maintenance was fully managed throughout the retail duration by Rental+'s operations team.
