Catering Equipment Fitout for a Dark Kitchen

The takeaway industry has faced an increased demand during and after the covid lockdowns and to help meet the number of orders and cover more areas Rental+ has assisted with numerous builds for dark kitchens.

Our customer needed to supply 20 different restaurants and we worked with them to fit out multiple kitchens within a large-scale building to assist them with this. Cost was a major factor but equally, there was no room for compromise on equipment and this was a complicated project. In this case the client chose us because of the quantity of equipment needed and scale of the build required and was confident that we could deliver on time and within their budget.

For each kitchen, we supplied a combi oven, fridge and freezer as well as a sink to make sure that every restaurant would be fully covered. Not only did that mean we need multiple of each item but they all need to be the same spec and make the best of the space available.
