A look at our recent project at St Michael’s Junior School in Bath
Supporting educational institutions has always been a large part of what we do at Rental+. Most recently, we undertook a project to supply additional catering and warewashing products to St Michael’s Junior School in Bath. The school acts as a central kitchen for several other schools in the area, which means that it is crucial that they have reliable equipment to keep them operational all year round.
By adding combination ovens to their kitchen facility, St Michael’s increased the number of meals they could produce. This lets them keep up with the demands of the many students they cook for on a daily basis, and upgrading their ware washing equipment as well, it meant that they would not fall behind even during the busiest times.
Our Commercial Manager, Claire Nagra, spoke with the Site Manager for St Michael’s, Mark Jarvis. After working with them as our public sector specialist, Claire wanted to understand how he felt the process with Rental+ went and if our service lives up to its reputation. We asked Mark a few questions to get an overview of his experience on the project and the journey with the Rental+ team.
How did Rental+ make the process easier for you?
You were very approachable and had comprehensive knowledge and experience, giving us peace of mind that we were working with a competent business.
Have the products you chose achieved what you intended?
100%, it definitely achieved what was needed. We wanted to upgrade old, worn-out equipment which was operating insufficiently and not delivering the output we needed. We will no longer waste money on monthly spending for call-out charges or parts and labour.
How did you first hear about our services?
After we assessed the market online, we chose Rental+ as a supplier to support quickly turning around delivery, installation and removal of existing equipment during the half term to avoid operational disruption.
