Why rent your display fridge from Rental+
A display fridge earns its keep front of house, and renting means it starts earning without capital outlay. You pay a fixed weekly amount by direct debit, and every plan includes inclusive service and maintenance: call-outs, routine servicing, parts and Planned Preventive Maintenance at no extra cost. If a unit cannot be fixed, we replace it. Chilled display is stock you can lose, so a nationwide network of engineers and a fix or replace commitment protect the product as well as the fridge.
Choosing the right display fridge
Start with the sale you want to make. A low-height impulse chiller by the till lifts drink sales on the way to payment. A full-height single-door cabinet is the workhorse for cafes and convenience counters. Multi-door cabinets carry serious volume for busy stores and food halls.
Then think placement and presentation. Glass doors keep energy use down while the product stays visible; LED-lit interiors and adjustable shelving keep the display working hard; lockable doors help where the fridge sits in an unstaffed area. If the fridge doubles as point-of-sale, we can brand the unit so it carries your identity or a supplier campaign.
Measure the site before you choose: height, ventilation clearance and door swing all matter front of house, where space is tightest. Tell us your layout and what you sell and we will match a cabinet to the job.

We rent Lowe display chillers, from the G4 Edge and G4 Edge Interactive single-door uprights and the G4-FC460 full-height cabinet to the Promo 2 low-height impulse chiller and the three-door G9DE for high-volume display. Every unit comes on the same fully maintained terms, and branding options are available across the range.
Display fridge, serve-over or multideck?
A display fridge is the closed, self-service cabinet customers open themselves, which makes it right for drinks and packaged grab-and-go. A serve-over counter is a staffed, open display for fresh food served across the counter; see our serve-over counters for deli and fresh-food service. An open-front multideck maximises self-service shelf space for high-turnover chilled retail; see our multideck fridges for that job. If you are selling packaged chilled product and want the door closed on running costs, this page is the right place.

How display fridge rental works
Getting started is simple. Choose your cabinet and request a quote, or build an indicative quote in the basket with no payment taken. We run a soft credit check, set up a security deposit and your weekly direct debit, then deliver the unit. From then on the plan covers service, parts and maintenance for as long as you rent.

FAQs
Frequenty Asked Questions
What size display fridge do I need?
Match the fridge to the space and the sale. Low-height impulse chillers of around 270 litres sit by the till and drive add-on drinks sales. Full-height single-door units of 370 to 550 litres suit most cafes and convenience counters, while multi-door cabinets of 1,500 litres and more serve high-volume stores.
Can you brand the display fridge?
Yes. We can brand the units if required, so the fridge carries your branding or a supplier’s, and the equipment works as point-of-sale as well as refrigeration. Tell us what you need when you request a quote and we will confirm the options for your chosen model.
What is the difference between a display fridge and a serve-over counter?
A display fridge is a closed, usually glass-door cabinet that customers browse and open themselves. A serve-over counter is an open, staffed display where your team serves fresh food such as deli items, meat or cakes across the counter. Self-service drinks and grab-and-go lines belong in a display fridge; assisted fresh-food service belongs in a serve-over.
Is service and maintenance included?
Yes. Every plan includes inclusive service and maintenance, covering call-outs, routine servicing, parts and Planned Preventive Maintenance at no extra cost. If a fridge cannot be fixed, we replace it, and a nationwide network of engineers supports every site.
Is the fridge new or reconditioned?
Plans use new or reconditioned equipment, depending on the model and availability. Reconditioned units are fully quality checked before delivery and maintained to the same standard as new stock throughout the plan, and the same inclusive service and maintenance cover applies whichever you receive.
