Rental+ recently attended the second annual Transforming the NHS Estate Event 2022 in London.

We were represented by our Commercial Manager Kelli Barrett & Lowe Connex’s Head of Sales Orla McGreevy who delivered a joint presentation at the event along with other representatives from companies in the Lowe Corporation, PKL Group and Lowe Connex. 

The purpose of the event is to provide attendees with an in-depth update around the current status of capital funding, any associated policies as well as the maintenance backlog in the NHS estate, with a view to future proofing the industry against rising costs and the constant challenge of estate management. 

There were a number of important points covered but just some of the issues that were tackled included: 

– How to save costs and energy through a managed catering estate 

– The benefits of managing your catering estate 

– The future of a managed equipment estate 

Kelli’s presentation was centred around the future of healthcare estates with a focus on turning managed assets into intelligent infrastructure and of course, touching on how Rental+ and our rental service can assist with these challenges. For example, our rental model allows for easier management of budgets and saves money upfront to allow a safer start up process to any operation.

The event informed heavily on some key issues that remain prevalent for the NHS and the healthcare industry as a whole.
